I took this photo of an icicle hanging outside of my living room window after a recent snowstorm. But its days are numbered because the weather is supposed to be getting warmer, and I can see that it is starting to melt.
I am thankful, though, that the life I have in Jesus will last forever; nothing will ever melt it away. And I have this reassurance in 1 John 5: 11: “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”
